TAKING THE MYSTERY OUT OF CITATIONS

On your computer Open MS Word and Open an Internet Browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).  You will have both open at the same time to allow you to copy and paste from the Internet Browser to MS Word.  In MS Word, title your page Works Cited.

You will take the Think Sheets given to you and place the information for the citation from the book, encyclopedia article, magazine article, and newspaper article in the SLATE Landmark Project Citation Machine.  Make sure you have selected MLA citations.  Once you have the information completed, click on Make Citation.  Copy and paste your citations into your MS Word document.  Make sure they are in MLA format and order.
